Minutes of General Meeting
Held on 25th January 2012 in Strachur Memorial Hall

Also present;Councilors McNaughton and 3 members of the Public.
1 Welcome, The chairman opened the meeting and welcomed all present.

3 Minutes of meeting held on 23rd November 2011
The minutes having been distributed were approved as accurate and signed by the Chairman. Proposed by Isabel McGladdery, seconded by Sandra Jenkin
4 Matters Arising; Picnic bench to be paid by C.C. Of £100.00 Strathlachlan Graveyard covered in A.O.B.and Expenses for secretary.
5 Treasurers Report, Sandra informed us that the of balance of £1636.53
6 Secretaries Report; We would arrange a day in early March for Duncan McKellar for the 2 Benches for Dr. Wright and a small presentation to Dr. Titmar at the same time.
7 No Report.

John brought up about a Mini Hydro Scheme to help out the Village and was informed that A& B. do help and encourage these schemes but it was something that the Rural Dev. Comp would have to look into.
Vi McLean once again brought up about the Speeding through St. Catherines, and asked if a permanent 40 MPH Flashing sign would help as it would raise the awareness of the speed limit after a discussion it was decided to contact Chief Insp. Mosley about the problem. She also brought up about the state of the Recycling station in Strachur she informed us of the mess around the bins and the condition of the ground being covered in mud making it very dangerous for the people using them.
Mr Iain McGregor gave a report on work at Strathlachlan Graveyard and how Allan McDonald was a great help in getting the work done to a very high standard and a credit to A&B. The only outstanding job is the sign for Strathlachlan at the proper place at March Cottage, Con. Alex McNaughton would contact Paul Ferrell, he also reported apart of the road which is flooding due to the lack of a ditch next to the road at bottom of the brae at the hall and 200 mts. From Feoline road end. This would also be reported to the roads dept.
