Minutes of Meeting - Wednesday 02/11/2011
and Wednesday 7th December 2011
1 Present Alistair McLachlan, Flora McLachlan, Sara Gibbs,
and Kate Paton.
2 Apologies Charlie Bell,Ian MacGregor,Gavin Kerr and Mary Jewison.
3 Minutes The minutes of the previous meeting were proposed by Flora and seconded by Kate.
4 Bingo The Bingo night was a success and made £175.83, thanks to Gavin,
It was suggested having another one in the Spring.
5 St Andrews night 23 people have booked so far The Committee will Set up on Thursday 24th at 7pm,
Shepherds Pie and Apple crumble is to be provided by the Committee, Sara will get
the Napkins and Tea Sugar Coffee etc, Flora will make Short bread and the
committee members will bring a raffle prize.
6 Financial Report P/A £2171.27

7 AOB A present is to be bought for the Children of Strathlachlan for Christmas instead
of a party.

1 Present Alistair McLachlan,Flora McLachlan,Sara Gibbs,Charlie Bell,
Ian McGregor,Gavin Kerr and Mary Jewison.
2 Apologies Kate Paton.
3 Minutes The previous minutes were proposed by Charlie and
seconded by Gavin.
4 St Andrews
Ceilidh This event was very successful and made £318.42.
the entertainment was excellent, the excess drink will
be used at the Burns Supper.
5 Childrens Party Inver Cottage is holding the Childrens Christmas Party,
The Hall will buy the presents.
6 Burns night Will be held on the 27th January 2012, the artists are as follows
Chairman Douglas Currie, Immortal Memory & address to the Haggis
Jim McMillan,Toast to the Lassies Allan Peat, Reply Betty Terris,
Singers Pearl Adamson,Arthur Young,Haggis Bearer Charlie Bell,
Kate will organise a Piper and Elsbeth is to be asked to do the Programmes.
Lindsay Walker is to be offered complimentary tickets.
The Committee Members are to go along on Thursday night at 7pm to set up.

4 Minutes The minutes of the previous meeting were proposed by Ian and seconded
by Flora.
5 Children The party was held at Inver Cottage and a letter of thanks is to be sent to
Party Jasmine.
6 Burns night The catering was arranged as follows: Flora will get the Haggis, Potatoes
and Turnips. Sara will get the Oatcakes,Table cloth, Tea etc, Cheese, Butter,
Napkins and prepare the Potatoes. Kate will get the rolls, After Eights and do
the trifle with Mary. Linen cloths are required for the top table. Mary will send
complimentary tickets to the Artists and ask Elsbeth to do the Menus.
Lindsay Walker has to be given a bottle of whiskey for Auditing the books
Steven McNair has agreed to be the Piper for the evening.
The committee members are to go along on Thursday evening at 7pm to set up
and are asked to please bring a raffle prize.
7 Whist Drive 17th February was suggested, Sara has to check if Glendaruel people will be able
to attend on that date. Charlie to be asked to do posters for it also the burns night.

5 Bingo Bingo has been provisionally arranged for 7th or 8th of October date will be confirmed at
next meeting after consultation with Gavin.
6 St Andrews 25th or 26th, Nov. date to be confirmed at next meeting,Entertainment to be discussed with
night Kate. There will be Food Shepherds Pie and Pudding all for £10.00. There will be a raffle
Flora will take bookings and it has to be advertised in the newsletter.
7 Burns 27th January 2012. Confirmed Artists are Immortal Memory Jim MacMillan, Singers will be
Supper Arthur Young and Pearl Adamson, The toast and reply to the lassies is still to be confirmed

5. St Andrews Will be on the 25th November at 7.30pm John Kelly is bringing his musical
Night group. The meal will be Shepherds Pie followed by apple puddings tea etc.
